PICNIC
Picnicking is a well-known activity in school. From casual lunches to games, picnics provide an easygoing environment to catch up and entertain kids. However, school picnics offer far more health benefits than what you can think.
Delhi city school arranged a picnic for students of classes 3rd to 10th on 5th october 2018 , to Surajgarh farms , Gurgaon
The students and teachers were given a warm welcome in a very traditional way by applying tilak and playing Rajasthani folk music. After that they were served a very delicious breakfast.
Students enjoyed various adventurous activities such as :
- Zip Lining
- River crossing
- Burma Crossing
- Tarzan Swing
- Cat walk
- Commando Crawl
- Commando Net
And many more…………..
Various rides such as tractor ride bullock cart ride and camel rides were also available that were enjoyed by the students to the most. They played various games like Badminton , Cricket , Carrom etc. Puppet Show grabbed the attention of many students and teachers. Girls also applied Mehendi. Delicious lunch was served in the afternoon which included Indian and Rajasthani Cuisines. Children enjoyed DJ and Rajasthani folk Dance.
At dispersal tea and aloo Pakoras were served and by 4’o Clock we started back for school.
Great day at Joygaon
A picnic is an event to eat outdoors, have a break, enjoy the warm sunshine, and have fun in free time. Classes from LKG to II went to “Joygaon” for a picnic on 4th October 2018. Joygaon provides experiences of an ethnic village in modern ambience in an eco friendly atmosphere. Students were welcomed at Joygaon with tilak on their foreheads. They relished a tasty breakfast and were later taken for the activities like Trampoline, multi play station, swings, pottery, mehandi, funny mirrors, mirror maze, puppet show , tractor ridefollowed by a toy train ride which the students enjoyed a lot. Later, all students danced on the DJ floor with great energy on amazing dance numbers. After a tiring and fun packed morning, all headed for lunch. Thereafter, they reached school well in time. It was a day worth spent.
FUN TIME FOR STUDENTS
The students of classes X and XII along with their teachers went for an excursion to “MOJO LAND” at Sonipat on 27th April2018 breaking the mundane routine of being at school attending classes. The students were overjoyed in the morning to reach Mojo land and give themselves a break for some adventure. They enjoyed the adventurous rides and scumptious It was indeed a wonderful day filled with fun and frolic for all. They thoroughly enjoyed the day with their friends, returning to school with wonderful memories and rejuvenated spirit.
The month of April proved to be very promising for our students of LKG to class VII. Students and teachers enjoyed a hearty meal at Domino’s. There they enjoyed a delicious mini pizza with a garlic bread and chilled cold drinks.
The students of classes VIII and IX went for a Hindi blockbuster movie “Raid” at Milan Cinema organized by “The Times of India”(NIE)
